The proof of my success is in the numbers. When I left advertising at the end of 2007, I had landed $134.95 million in billings for the agencies I worked at or with.
Bozell wasn't invited into a $30 million pitch.
But, I won the account anyway.
When the SyQuest account came up for review, I had just started as the new ECD/Partner Creative at Bozell.
The agency didn't make the short list. They weren't even on the long list.
So I put together three introductory pieces and hand delivered one each day to the SyQuest marketing
department. On the fourth day we were invited into their agency review.
Three weeks later, we won the account.
